Why so far?

lot of people have asked us, "Why does the parade go so far?" A very
important reason. Brentwood House is our very own seniors assisted
living. One year, all those eager seniors waited outside for the parade
to go by. All lot of entrants didn't know, and decided that they were
tired, passing a large gap in the crowd, and so they dropped out early.
So, there were our seniors, left sitting. Just sitting, waiting for the
parade that didn't come.
We swore to
Brentwood House and ourselves that it would never happen again, and it
hasn't. Each parade entrant is now told that if they wish to ever enter
our parade again, they will march proudly all the way past Brentwood
House and our waiting seniors. It's the least we can do for our elders.
Besides, one day those streets will all be filled with crowds, all the way to Brentwood House. We have a vision.
